Each fall, as hurricanes threaten large parts of the south and east, animals shelters in their path tend to evacuate rather than risk flooding and catastrophe.
As Atlanta sits just outside most emergency areas, AHS is asked to take in large numbers of dogs and cats.
They’re cute, they’re adorable, and they all need their to be fed, housed, bathed, and adopted. A few even need medical care.
Donations are needed to help provide animals with food, medical supplies and care.
